Hannah Pearl Wallace:

Apprentice Level Instructor

Hannah-Pearl, or “HP”, is our Apprentice Level Instructor who studied under SPARK Founder, Ari Sanchez-Morrison, in the training of Balanced Body to Anatomy, Movement Principles, and Mat Pilates.

Hannah-Pearl is a Holistic Chef certified through Bauman College where she served as Kitchen Manager. With a background in nutrition, she specializes in dietary restrictions and autoimmune diseases. In the SF Bay Area (where she lived for 30 years, the last 6 in Chattanooga), she had a steady clientele for whom she provided home delivered meals or meal plans.

Raised by a mother trained in somatic movement therapy and bodywork, Hannah-Pearl experienced how movement impacts the nervous system, a core belief in Pilates. And learned the importance of a spontaneous, daily dance party. She studied various dance styles, which led to an Associates of Arts in Dance. She holds a certification in Early Childhood Education and Development.

Feeling firsthand the impact of delving into her own body’s patterns through an ongoing interest in Pilates and the last two years at SPARK, has inspired HP to help others do the same. She continues her learning as an instructor and student at SPARK and aims to meld her understanding of holistic nutrition and movement as an offering.

Her movement-related studies and hobbies have included hiking, yoga, running, swimming (preferably in a lake), functional fitness, circus arts and musical theatre. Outside of the studio, she is often on the trails with her husband, son and dog, or crafting costumes and dinner parties for other creative friends and tending to the beauty and comfort of their home and the nature around it!
